General Information
With focus on the strengths of the individual, Brandon Hall provides personalized college preparatory classes for all students. The intensity of this focus within a very traditional prep school setting is both challenging and nurturing.
An accredited, nonprofit, nonsectarian, coeducational day and boarding school for students in grades 6-12, Brandon Hall enrolls approximately 140 students with a very low teacher-pupil ratio.
The school also offers a postgraduate year as well as a Summer School in which students may earn up to one and one-half credit units.
International students find that English as a Second Language (ESL) courses also provide individual attention for optimum success. Qualified students who perform at grade level but are behind in earning credits may profit from the Specialized Instruction classes to earn one credit unit in a semester.
Students can be involved in over nine sports as well as a strong fine arts program in art, music, and drama.
While located in the quiet suburbs of North Atlanta on the Chattahoochee River, the school's proximity to the educational, cultural and recreational opportunities of downtown Atlanta makes the school attractive as both a day and boarding school. The school is easily accessible from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the Interstate highway system. Brandon Hall is not a proper setting for students with acute learning disabilities or severe emotional or disciplinary problems.
Learn how House Bill 1133 and GA GOAL can help fund a Brandon Hall Education.
Passed in 2008, HB 1133 allows Georgia tax-payers, both corporate and individuals, to direct their tax dollars to aid an educational institution. 50 million dollars of tax credits are available. Learn more about this opportunity and the impact it has by reviewing GA Goal's Annual Report.
Non-Discriminatory Policy
Brandon Hall does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its employment practices, educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school administered programs.
