Funds and Ways to Donate

Brandon Hall's mission as a co-educational, global boarding and day school challenges students to lead lives of leadership, scholarship, and service. Our community celebrates learning, fosters global citizenship, embraces diversity, encourages athleticism and artistic expression, and inspires students to find their path and lead the way.

We are grateful to our Brandon Hall families, and an extensive network of alumni, grandparents, Board Members, parents of alumni, Faculty and Staff, and other friends and volunteers who have invested in the future of our school, allowing our school to carry out its mission of offering a progressive education grounded in leadership, scholarship and service.

Like most independent schools, tuition and fees do not cover the total cost of educating your student, so additional financial support from all members of our Brandon Hall community is important. And, as is the case with other independent schools, Brandon Hall solicits tax- deductible gifts and special financial support from its constituencies in several ways. We accept donations of cash, stock, checks, credit cards, gifts in kind (goods and services), as well as corporate matching gifts.

BHS is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Please contact the Advancement Department at 770.394.8177 or to discuss how you can support Brandon Hall.

Annual Giving

Your support of the Brandon Hall Annual Fund provides the larger Brandon Hall family and community the opportunity to participate via tax-deductible gifts to a fund, which complements tuition and supports Brandon Hall’s commitment to a progressive educational philosophy and approach.

Special Interest Giving

Parent Association supports BHS activities including Parent Socials, our used uniform store, the “Clawset” and Faculty and Staff Appreciation Fund. PA also supports the Spring Fundraiser, and in 2018 will support the “Brandon Haul” Fun Run to benefit our school.

Booster Club supports athletic programs through memberships and concession sales, financially assisting areas of athletics and physical education not covered by the school budget. Membership is $100/$250 per family.

Art Fund - This fund supplements the budgets for Fine Arts, Music, and Theatre.

Alumni "Gift My Year" Fund - The "Gift My Year" initiative was started as a commitment from Alumni to continue their ongoing annual support to the school. A minimum pledge of your class year - for example, Class of 2015 = $20.15 each year - is suggested. All donations are welcome and appreciated.

Capital Giving

Classrooms, dormitories, athletic facilities, and the dining hall are integral to the Brandon Hall School experience. Maintenance and expansion of the physical plant are necessary capital expenses that occur over time. By contributing to the Capital Fund, your gift will ensure that the facilities are fully functional, comfortable, and support the Brandon Hall mission.

Gifts In-Kind

In-kind giving (goods and services) is always appreciated at Brandon Hall. It is a way to directly impact the quality of education and support BHS students. Please contact The Advancement Department at 770.394.8177 or at to explore opportunities for in-kind giving.

Memorials and Honoraria

Special giving opportunities are available through Brandon Hall’s Memorials and Honoraria program. In recognition of your gift, we will send the person or family being honored, or who are remembering a loved one, a card of acknowledgement so they are aware of your generous contribution.
